Vide Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Wi-Fi Pro: Tester & Security (WPS Analyzer and WiFi Password) mobile application ("the App"). 2. Information Collection and Permission Usage

A. Location Data & Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (Android OS Requirement)

To perform core app features—including discovering available Wi-Fi access points, analyzing signal strength, running WPS security checks, and conducting internet speed tests—the App requests permission to access device Location Services (`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION`, `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION`) and Nearby Wi-Fi Devices (`NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES`).

Notice on Location Usage: Under official Android OS policy guidelines (Android 10 through Android 16), scanning for nearby Wi-Fi network information (SSID, BSSID, and signal strength) is hardware-classified by Android OS as location-related data. The App accesses this data strictly on your device in real-time to render Wi-Fi lists and test network speed. We do NOT track your physical location, record location history, or upload location data to remote servers.

B. Network State & Wi-Fi Management

The App requests access to network states (`ACCESS_WIFI_STATE`, `CHANGE_WIFI_STATE`, `ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`, `INTERNET`) to:

Display connected Wi-Fi parameters (IP address, gateway, DNS settings).

Execute download and upload speed performance tests.

Connect to user-selected Wi-Fi networks.

C. Advertising Identifier (Ad ID)

The App uses the standard non-permanent Google Advertising Identifier (GAID) provided by Google Play Services. The Ad ID is used strictly by accredited third-party ad networks (Google AdMob / AdX) for frequency capping, ad measurement, and serving relevant advertisements.

D. Local Device Storage

Wi-Fi network connection histories and PIN generator entries created by you are stored strictly on your local device via a private database. This data is never transmitted to external servers and is erased if you uninstall the App or clear App data.

The App incorporates official third-party SDKs that process non-personally identifiable diagnostic information (such as IP address, device hardware specs, and Advertising ID) for ad delivery and app stability:
