Vide Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Touch Lock – Disable Touch mobile application ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use our App in full compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies, Google Play Data Safety requirements, Google AdMob Publisher Policies, and Google Ad Manager Partner Guidelines.


We are committed to respecting and safeguarding user privacy. The App operates primarily on-device, does not require user account registration, and does not collect or transmit personal identifiers to proprietary servers.


2. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND PERMISSION USAGE

The App requires specific device permissions and accesses certain hardware capabilities strictly to provide its core touch-prevention and screen-protection utility:


A. Display Over Other Apps (android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW)

- Purpose: Core functionality. Allows the App to draw a full-screen, transparent touch-intercepting overlay window over other active applications (such as video streaming apps, e-readers, and games) to block accidental screen taps and gestures.

- Data Processing: The overlay does not record, log, capture, or transmit screen content or user keystrokes. It operates solely as a touch-blocking barrier on your device.


B. Foreground Service (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE)

- Purpose: Maintains the touch-blocking overlay and protection state reliably while other applications are in the foreground, ensuring protection is not interrupted until you explicitly perform the unlock gesture.


C. Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS)

- Purpose: Displays a persistent status notification with quick "Turn On" and "Turn Off" controls in your notification panel, allowing you to manage screen protection at any time.


D. Motion Sensors & Accelerometer (Shake to Unlock)

- Purpose: When you enable the optional "Shake to Unlock" feature, the App monitors real-time accelerometer sensor data (Sensor.TYPE_ACCELEROMETER) to detect physical device shaking.

- On-Device Only: Motion sensor calculations are processed transiently in device memory. Sensor data is never recorded, stored, or transmitted over any network.


E. Keep Screen Awake / Wake Lock (android.permission.WAKE_LOCK)

- Purpose: When the optional "Keep Screen On" setting is enabled, the App prevents your display from dimming or timing out while screen protection is active during media playback or reading.


F. Vibration & Haptics (android.permission.VIBRATE)

- Purpose: Provides tactile haptic feedback when locking, unlocking, or toggling preferences.


G. Advertising Identifier (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID)

- Purpose: The App uses the standard Google Advertising Identifier (AAID / GAID) provided by Google Play Services. The Advertising ID is used strictly by accredited third-party advertising networks (Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager / AdX) for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and personalized advertising (subject to your consent choices).


H. Local Device Storage

- Purpose: App settings (such as unlock method, shake-to-unlock toggle, keep-screen-on state, haptic intensity, and auto-lock delay) are stored strictly locally on your device via standard Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear App storage.


3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND AD NETWORKS

The App integrates official third-party SDKs that process non-personally identifiable technical and diagnostic information (such as Advertising ID, IP address, device specifications, and ad telemetry) for ad delivery and consent management:


- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used for delivering in-app banner and interstitial advertisements.

Ad Manager requests are made through the same Google Mobile Ads SDK and are subject to the same consent choices as AdMob.

Core touch-locking and sensor operations run locally on your device within the sandboxed Android operating environment.
