This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Vide Apps ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses,

maintains, protects, and discloses information collected from users ("User" or "you") of the Work Hours

Tracker & Timesheet mobile application ("App") for Android.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal, work, and financial information.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our data practices and your privacy rights. By

installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. CORE PRIVACY PRINCIPLE: 100% LOCAL & OFFLINE-FIRST

ARCHITECTURE

The App is designed as an offline-first utility for tracking shifts, hours worked, and calculating estimated

earnings:

• No Account Required: Youdo not need to register, create an account, log in, or provide any personal

contact details (such as your email address, phone number, or password) to use the App.

• 100% On-Device Data Storage: All your work logs, shift times, hourly pay rates, overtime

calculations, notes, position titles, and app settings are stored exclusively on your local device in an

on-device SQLite database and local application storage.

• No Developer Cloud Servers: We do not operate or maintain remote databases, cloud sync servers,

or external tracking servers. Yourtimesheet and wage data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted

to any server owned or controlled by Vide Apps.

• Automated Cloud Backup Disabled: To protect the confidentiality of your pay and hours, the App

explicitly disables Android cloud backups (android:allowBackup="false") and restricts

automated device-transfer rules. Yourtimesheet history stays strictly on your physical device.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND PROCESS

A. Personal, Work & Financial Data Managed Locally by You

To calculate your earnings, organize your shifts, and generate exportable timesheet reports, you may

enter the following data directly into the App:

• Shift & Time Records: Dates worked, daily regular hours, overtime hours, start and end times, and

multi-tariff line breakdowns (e.g., splitting a day across basic, evening, night, or weekend shifts).

• Pay & Financial Rates: Base hourly rates, overtime multipliers (e.g., 1.5×), customized tariff rates,

currency preference (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP), and calculated pay figures.

• Adjustments & Extra Earnings: Optional bonuses, meal/travel expense reimbursements, and

deductions/fines attached to specific days.

• Shift Details & Calendar Notes: Custom shift tags, shift color markers, event names (e.g., "Site

Visit"), and free-text personal work notes.

• Worker Profile & Report Information: Full name and job position/title (e.g., Electrician, Driver,

Nurse, Carpenter, Warehouse Operative, etc.) that you optionally enter to display on generated

timesheet reports.

• App Preferences: Week start day (Sunday/Monday), pay period grouping (monthly, weekly,

half-monthly, custom period), theme mode (light, dark, system), primary accent color, and language

settings.

Important Storage Notice: All data listed above remains 100% local to your device. We never

transmit, inspect, share, or sell your shifts, hourly rates, wages, notes, or worker profile data.

B. Information Automatically Collected by Third-Party SDKs (Google

AdMob)

The App itself makes no network requests for user data. However, to keep the core features of the App

free for everyone, the App integrates the Google AdMob SDK (Google Mobile Ads) to serve

advertisements.

When you use the App with an active internet connection, Google AdMob may automatically collect

device-level technical identifiers:

• Device & Technical Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (

com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID), Android ID, Internet Protocol (IP) address,

device brand and model, operating system version, carrier, and device language settings.

• Ad Interaction & Performance Data: Ad impressions, ad clicks, diagnostic data, session duration,

and crash/error reports related to ad rendering to measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent

activity or invalid traffic.

• Network Connection Status: Network state (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to ensure ads are only requested

when an active internet connection is available.

3. THIRD-PARTYSERVICES & SDK DISCLOSURES

The App does not integrate social media plugins, third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics

or Firebase Analytics), or third-party crash reporting SDKs. The only external service integrated is:

• Google AdMob / Google Play Services

• Purpose: Delivering anchored adaptive banner ads (on the Calendar and About screens) and

occasional, heavily-paced interstitial ads between page transitions, as well as detecting ad fraud.

4. HOW WE USE COLLECTED INFORMATION

The information processed by the App is used strictly for the following legitimate purposes:

1. Delivering Core App Functionality: Calculating base pay, overtime pay, and period totals using the

formula:

2. Generating Reports & Timesheets: Rendering monthly timesheets and earnings summaries as

local HTML files and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx) upon your command.

3. Providing Local Backup & Restore: Allowing you to export your data to a CSV spreadsheet

backup ("Save Data") and re-import it ("Restore data").

4. Serving Advertisements: Displaying banner and interstitial advertisements provided by Google

AdMob.

5. Security & Fraud Prevention: Detecting technical faults, ensuring app stability, and preventing

invalid ad clicks or fraud.

5. USER-INITIATED SHARING, EXPORTS & BACKUPS

• Generated Reports (HTML & XLSX): When you generate a monthly report, the file is saved locally in

your device's Documents/Work Hours Reports/ folder (or app-specific storage). The file never

leaves your phone unless you deliberately tap the Android Share button to send it to an employer,

accountant, cloud drive, or email recipient.

• CSV Backups ("Save Data"): When you use the "Save Data" feature, a CSV file (

work_hours_backup_YYYY-MM-DD.csv) is created in your device's

Documents/Work document backup/ folder. This file remains on your device until you choose to

transfer or share it.

• Restore Data: When you use "Restore data", the App uses the native Android system document

picker so you can select a previously saved CSV file from your phone storage or Google Drive. The

file is read strictly within your local session to populate your local database.

6. DATASTORAGE, RETENTION & PROTECTION POLICY

(GOOGLE PLAY COMPLIANT)

In compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding User Data and Data Safety:

A. Local Data Retention

• Where it is stored: All work logs, hourly rates, adjustments, profile information, and preferences are

stored exclusively on your device's internal SQLite database (workhours.db).

• Retention Duration: Local data is retained indefinitely on your device for as long as the App remains

installed, or until you choose to delete entries, clear a period, or reset data.

• Cloud Storage: We do not retain, copy, or store your personal work history on any remote server.

B. Third-Party Ad Network Retention

Google AdMob retains technical identifiers (such as the Advertising ID and IP address) according to

Google's standard data retention policies, typically ranging from 30 days to 24 months, for advertising,

audit, and fraud prevention purposes.

7. DATADELETION, USER CONTROL & PRIVACY RIGHTS

(GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

How You Can Delete Your Data Immediately

1. Delete Individual Entries: Tap any logged date on the calendar, click the delete icon, or clear the

hours/minutes to delete that day's entry.

2. Delete a Specific Period: Open the calendar menu, select Delete Period, choose a date range, and

confirm. All work records in that range will be permanently erased.

3. Clear All Data via Device Settings:

• Open Android Settings > Apps (or Application Manager).

• Select Work Hours Tracker & Timesheet.

• TapStorage & cache.

• Select Clear Storage (or Clear Data). This immediately and permanently destroys the local

database, all settings, cached reports, and local backups stored in the app directory.

4. Uninstall the App: Uninstalling the App removes the application package and automatically deletes

its local SQLite database and private storage from your device.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA & UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom:

• Right of Access, Rectification & Erasure: Because your timesheet data is stored 100% locally on

your device, you have immediate, direct access to view, correct, export, or erase all of your data

directly within the App at any time.

• Ad Privacy & Consent Management (UMP): The App integrates Google's User Messaging Platform

(UMP) SDK. EEA and UK users are presented with a consent form regarding personalized

advertising. Youcan revisit and change your privacy consent choices at any time by navigating to

About the program > Ad privacy options inside the App.

Your Rights Under CCPA / CPRA (California Residents)

• We do not sell or share your personal work entries, wages, names, or timesheets.

• Google AdMob may process device identifiers for advertising purposes. Youcan opt out of

personalized ads directly through your Android system settings: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete

advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.

8. DEVICE PERMISSIONS DISCLOSURE

The App requests the absolute minimum permissions necessary to function, adhering to the principle of

data minimization:

Permissions Explicitly Removed / Not Used

To protect your privacy and ensure compliance with Google Play's strict permission policies, the following

permissions are explicitly removed and never requested:

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE is stripped (tools:node="remove"); the App runs zero background or

foreground services.

• USE_BIOMETRIC and USE_FINGERPRINT are stripped (tools:node="remove").

• No location permissions (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION or ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) are requested.

• No camera, microphone, contacts, or phone state permissions are requested.

• Haptic vibration (android.hardware.vibrate) is optional and used solely for tactile button

feedback.

9. SECURITY OF YOUR DATA

• Network Encryption: All network traffic for Google AdMob utilizes secure, encrypted HTTPS/TLS

connections. Cleartext (unencrypted HTTP) traffic is strictly forbidden by the App's Android network

security configuration (cleartextTrafficPermitted="false").

• Local Sandboxing: Yourwork logs are protected by Android's application sandboxing, which

prevents other applications on your device from accessing the App's private SQLite database.

• Shared File Security: When exporting reports or backups, the App uses a secure

androidx.core.content.FileProvider with temporary, granular read-only intent permissions (

grantUriPermissions="true"), ensuring third-party apps cannot access your private storage.

• Device Security Recommendation: Because your data is stored locally, we recommend

safeguarding your physical device with a secure PIN, password, or biometric lock.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)

The App is designed as a productivity tool for working adults and individuals who track hourly wages. It is

not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect,

request, or store personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal

information or used the App, please contact us at videapps11@gmail.com, and we will take immediate

corrective measures.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality, third-party

SDK updates, or applicable legal and regulatory standards. Any changes will be published with an
