PRIVACY POLICY FOR ZUV: CARD GAME WITH FRIENDS

 PRIVACY POLICY FOR ZUV: CARD GAME WITH FRIENDS

Effective date: October 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the ZUV: Card Game with Friends app for Android

("ZUV", "the App") collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. The

App is published by Vide Apps ("we", "us", "our").

If you have any question about this policy, contact us at videapps11@gmail.com.

SUMMARY

- You do not need an account to play. The App has no sign-in, and we never ask for your email

  address, phone number, contacts or photos.

- Your game progress (settings, statistics, coins, unlocked looks and a saved match) is stored

  only on your device.

- We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.

- If you choose to play online with friends, the name you type and your moves are sent to our game

  server for that game only, and are deleted automatically soon after the game ends.

- The App is free and shows ads from Google. Google's ad services collect some device information

  to show and measure ads, as described below.

- The App reads ad settings from Google's Firebase Remote Config, which uses a random

  installation ID.

- We do not sell your personal information for money.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

1.1 Information stored only on your device

The App saves the following in its private storage on your device:

- your sound, vibration, graphics, colorblind-mode and house-rule settings;

- your game statistics (wins, losses and rounds played);

- your virtual coin balance, and the card backs, tables and avatars you have unlocked or selected;

- a match in progress, so you can continue it later;

- the name you last used for online games, and a random code that lets your phone rejoin an

  online game after a lost connection;

- how many optional reward ads you have watched today, and when the last launch ad was shown

  (used to limit how often ads appear).

We cannot see or access this information. It never leaves your device, except through Android

backup as described in section 4.

1.2 Information sent when you play online with friends

Online play is optional. Playing against the App's bots, or with friends passing one phone, sends

nothing to our game server.

When you create or join an online game, the App connects to our game server and sends:

- the name you type for that game, which the other players in the same game can see;

- the game code, and the random rejoin code described above;

- the moves you make in the game.

The server keeps the state of the game so it can enforce the rules and keep every player's screen

in step. It does not ask for or store your email address, contacts, location or advertising ID.

To deliver the connection, our hosting provider processes your IP address, as every internet

service does. We do not use it to identify or track you.

1.3 Information collected by Google's ad services

The App uses Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager to show ads. To serve ads, measure them, limit how

often they appear and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the App may collect and send to

Google:

- your device's advertising ID and app set ID;

- your IP address, from which an approximate location (such as country or city) may be derived;

- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, screen

  size and app version;

- how you interact with ads (for example, views and taps), and diagnostic information about ad

  performance.

1.4 Information collected by Firebase Remote Config

The App uses Google Firebase Remote Config to receive its ad settings (which ad placements to use),

so we can change them without an app update. For this, Firebase receives:

- a Firebase installation ID, a random identifier created for this installation of the App;

- your IP address;

- basic app and device information, such as app version, operating system version and language.

Firebase Remote Config is not used for analytics, advertising or tracking.

1.5 Information we do NOT collect

The App does not collect your name (other than the optional online-game name you choose), email

address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, videos, audio, files, calendar,

messages, health data or payment information. The App has no in-app purchases, no chat, and no

Google sign-in.

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SDKs

The App uses the following third-party services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

- Google AdMob and Google Ad Manager (Google LLC): ads.

  https://policies.google.com/privacy

  How Google uses information from apps that use its services:

  https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

- Google User Messaging Platform (Google LLC): asks for ad consent where the law requires it.

  https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Google Firebase Remote Config (Google LLC): remote ad settings.

  https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): hosts our online game server, as our service provider.

  https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information only to:

- run the game and save your progress on your device;

- run online games with friends: connect players, check that every move follows the rules, show

  each player's chosen name to the others in the same game, and let a player rejoin after a lost

  connection;

- show ads that keep the App free, limit how often they appear, measure them and prevent ad fraud;

- choose which ad placements the App uses (Firebase Remote Config);

- ask for, and remember, your ad consent choice where the law requires it.

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not run analytics.

Legal bases (for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland): we process online-game data because it

is needed to provide the online game you ask to play; ad-related processing relies on the consent

you give through Google's consent form, where required; and Firebase Remote Config relies on our

legitimate interest in keeping the App's ad configuration working.

4. DATA STORAGE, RETENTION AND PROTECTION

- Game data on your device stays there until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.

- If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include your game progress in

  your device backup, which Google stores under your own account according to your backup

  settings. You can manage this in your device's settings. Your ad consent choices and launch-ad

  timing are not backed up; on a new device the App asks again where the law requires it.

- Online games: a game, with the names and moves in it, is deleted from our server automatically

  about 10 minutes after the last player leaves. We keep no history of online games.

- Information collected by Google's ad services and by Firebase is kept by Google according to its

  own retention policies, linked in section 2.

5. DATA SHARING

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with data brokers.

Information leaves your device only:

- to Google, through the ad and Firebase services described in sections 1.3 and 1.4;

- to our game server, hosted by Cloudflare as our service provider, when you play online

  (section 1.2);

- to the other players in an online game, who see the name you chose and your moves in that game;

- if required by law, for example to respond to a valid legal request.

Some privacy laws (for example in California) may treat the use of an advertising ID for

personalized ads as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can stop this at any time by

deleting your advertising ID or turning off ad personalization (see section 6).

When you invite friends, the App opens Android's share sheet with an invite link and game code.

You choose the app and the person to send it to; ZUV does not see your contacts or who you send it

to.

6. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

- Ad consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App asks for

  your consent through Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can change your choice

  at any time in the App under Settings > Privacy options.

- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in

  your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on your

  device).

- Reward ads are always optional. You can play the whole game without watching any.

- Online play is optional. You can leave an online game at any time with Leave Game.

- Delete your data: clear the App's storage or uninstall the App to delete all game data on your

  device. Online game data is deleted automatically, as described in section 4. Because the App has

  no accounts, we hold no other data linked to you. To request deletion of anything else, email

  videapps11@gmail.com.

- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the

  processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data

  protection authority. To use these rights, contact us at videapps11@gmail.com.

7. DEVICE PERMISSIONS

The App asks for no permission that shows a prompt. It declares these normal permissions, granted

at install:

- Internet and network state: to load ads, to read ad settings, and to play online games.

- Vibrate: for haptic feedback during play. You can turn vibration off in the App's settings.

- Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID): lets Google's ad services read the

  advertising ID for ads, measurement and fraud prevention.

- Android ad services (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION,

  ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS): declared by the Google Mobile Ads SDK for Android's Privacy Sandbox

  ad APIs, which you can manage in your device's privacy settings.

- Wake lock: used by Google's ad SDK to finish short background tasks.

The App does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, calendar or

phone calls.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not

knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Ads in the App are limited to

content rated suitable for general audiences. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal

information through the App, contact us at videapps11@gmail.com and we will help remove it.

9. SECURITY

Game data is kept in the App's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Online games and ad

requests use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Our game server checks every move, and each player's

phone receives only its own cards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take

reasonable measures to protect the information the App handles.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on

this page and change the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the App's

store listing.
